Meet The Owner

Sharon Cassells - Founder
The mountains of Gros Morne remind us of steadiness, patience, and perspective. The waters of Bonne Bay, the ebbs and flows of life. And the waterfalls, that movement need not be rushed to be powerful. Even the mantle revealed in the Tablelands offers its own quiet lesson: beneath the surface lies a foundation—a reminder that within each of us exists a deeper place of strength, stability, and connection, even when life feels uncertain. These natural lessons of Gros Morne became the inspiration behind Float.
Every aspect of the experience—from the music and sound design to the atmosphere and setting—has been thoughtfully chosen to create a space for rest, reflection, and renewal, all overlooking the beauty of Bonne Bay.
My hope is that your time here leaves you feeling lighter, more grounded, and more connected—to yourself, to the landscape around you, and to the people who matter most.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Dalhousie University, where her studies extended beyond health into music, sound design, and the ways music and environment shape human experience.
